New Nomura Famitsu interview in weekend March issue of Famitsu and Cover for On the Way to a Smile book revealed

In the March 21 weekend release of Famitsu , Nomura will talk about FFXIII and FFVII Advent Children Complete. Be sure to stick around and see what details he reveals on two of his prominent projects when we cover that interview here. Thanks Kuradostrife for letting us know to expect it!

Also, the cover for the new On the Way to a Smile book that will be released at the same time of FFVII Advent Children Complete has been revealed. With such an interesting choice of characters for the cover, does it hint that these characters will play prominent roles in each of the stories contained therein?

  1. It’s a very nice cover for a book, feels classy and refined.
About the characters, well, everyone was quite expected, exept from Vincent and Cid, or, may it be something we still don’t know.

I sure as hell wasn’t expecting Sephiroth.

That would be pretty insane if “Case of Lifestream” was actually about Sephiroth in the Lifestream…..

And yeah, I was quite surprised with Vincent being on there too. I really can’t wait to see what these stories are like.

      • I was talking with some friends at the weekend, and we where discussing about “Case of Lifestream”. I put my tokes on Sephiroth, I felt that it would be interesting to tell his story at lifestream instead of Aerith. not that I don’t want to know about that, but, telling a story with Sephiroth at the center would be so rich and interesting… to have a vilain as the protagonist. And we can also have and interesting encounter between Sephiroth and Aerith….. who knows.

Since OTWTAS is meant to fill in the gap between FFVII and AC, having the Case of Lifestream feature Sephiroth might explain more about what happened to him after FFVII’s final battle, creating Kadaj, Loz and Yazoo, etc.

    Shitty cover is shit.

    Dull and uninteresting imo.

They should have used some Nomura art, or something like that image of Denzel for the ova.

  3. Tennyo says:

Vincent and Sephirth, huh? That’s a twist. :P

Also, will the Case of Shinra be about Rufus, then? I like him and all but I was really looking forward toa Turk story. :/
