Apparently there are some cutscenes hidden in the code, some guy on gameFAQs is uploading them.

I don't know if they are from Prologus' code. Square are running a contest where people make their own battle videos showing either Warrior of Light or Lightning, for which they're providing videos for people to download. All three of those are from this, rather than Prologus.

What is that even supposed to mean anyway. It'd be one thing if they meant that Cloud was the only one skilled enough to kill him, but they're saying Sephiroth is freaking immortal unless Cloud does it.

And if that's the case, then Chaos has the battle in the freaking bag. "All villains, target the spiky-haired blonde guy. Sephiroth avoid that guy like the plague and kill everyone else."

The writers have taken the concept from Kingdom Hearts and placed it where it doesn't belong. In KH, Sephiroth is Cloud's darkness. The only one who can defeat your darkness is yourself etc. Ok fine, in KH this works.

But not in Dissidia and not in the Compilation. Again, the writers must be mixing these two different universes which would not be surprising considering the poor story and dialogue we've already seen. *grumble grumble*

I actually think I have a solution to the reason why only Cloud can kill Sephiroth. Sephiroth is Cloud's memory and thus he is the only one that can kill him as it is "Cloud's memory". Not that good plot wise but a hell of a lot better than the crappy lines from Kingdom Hearts. It's close to the darkness thing but I think the memory theory fits better with the overall plot.

The lines are for the most part rehashes and although I appreciate the story I doubt they can do a better job than Final Fantasy Still (which is superior in nearly every way and it is a fan created dub and plot of dissidia).
