I look forward to comparing the AC and ACC tracks.

Edit: Assuming there is any real difference, that is.

Just looking at the track length, OWA gets an extra 1 minute while Sign gets some +3 minutes. Those Who Fight Further and the Chase of Highway get around +1 minute as well, so there should be some noticable difference.

FFShores lists there being a new longer version of One-Winged Angel.

Or can I find it… somewhere…? And I’m absolutely DYING to hear the new OWA.

=/ As of now, it’s only available in the Japanese Store, and you’ll need a Japanese billing account in order to purchase it.

    Is there?

But her theme was just the re-used piano album track. Somehow I can’t imagine they actually re-arranged it.

There’s releasing it on an ‘AniMelo’ mobile phone service as well, which will have the ACC Long Version of Aerith’s Theme from the 23rd, FFVII Main Theme (from FFVII) from the 16th, and ‘Those Who Fight (AC Version)’ from the 30th.

Oh, and it also seems that the Denzel OVA track is once again composed by Takeharu Ishimoto.

If you want to buy it from the Japanese iTunes store, the easiest way of doing it is getting a Japanese iTunes card. That way, you don’t have to worry about a Japanese billing address.

You can purchase Japanese iTunes cards online… remember, it has to be a JAPANESE card in order to buy from the Japanese store.

The iTunes store only lists five tracks, the ones listed and the “new” OWA.

I just paid $25 to open a Japanese iTunes account with 1600 yen, so unless someone is willing to reimburse me, I don’t really feel like sharing. Plus I’d have to kill the DRM on them so I wouldn’t be able to share without working for it anyway.

What about this Mora site? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mora_(music_store)

Also ACC album on Mora: http://mora.jp/package/50000004/SQEX-50003/

It won’t let me preview the songs. 🙁

      You’ll need to download http://sonicstage.software.informer.com/

(I had to look up the format to figure out what the heck you had to do…. oh and you’ll need to set it so your browser uses the program to open them… I can’t find a way to open them once you save them to the computer)

Very cool, thanks jkoz. Hmm, that part feels very theatrical in comparison to the j-rock style most of the old version consists of… I hope this extended version works well.
