Advent Children Complete screen in Ginza, Tokyo

by April 10, 2009 0 comments

There was a press screening of Advent Children Complete held at the Sony Building in Ginza, Tokyo. There are some images from the screening that show Final Fantasy VII on the PSP (from the Japanese PSN), an incredibly detailed physical model of Midgar, a Buster Sword replica, the Cloud Black PS3, and other figure models of Cloud on the Fenrir & Hardy Daytona.

Update: There’s now a huge gallery of 43 images from the press screening, including some new screenshots from ACC, and some more in-depth looks at what was shown off at the press screening. Click on “Read the rest of this entry” to check out all the images.

OH, another appearance of the Midgar model. God I love that thing. I really hope they extend the PSN FFVII outside of Japan!

And does anyone know what that cloudy-wolf embossed fabric stretched over a tile..thing is supposed to be?

If I were them I would never get rid of the Midgar model. lol They drag that thing everywhere, which is cool in my book since it is pretty awesome.

And yeah I was wondering what that fabric is myself. In fact there’s a lot of really random stuff in these pics. 😛

Ya know – it’s little events like this that I’d die to go see, just because of the little props & things that you’ll never see anywhere else – let alone seeing ACC early.

See, again from that model, I don’t think the plate was as high as it was on the cover of Case of Denzel. And I don’t see how there could be skyscrapers underneath that thing.

I’m chalking this one up to artistic licence.

If you look at how tiny the houses are on the plate, it actually works.

Interestingly, even though they always say the plate is ca. 50m above the ground, this’d be far too low. The plate must be much higher.
