Dissidia Duodecim 012 – Website Artwork and Renders [Updated]

Posted on February 10th, 2011 at 11:39 AM by Cloud_S

Since there have been more characters revealed on both the Japanese and North American websites, I have updated the previous post, with all available images. I’m also making this new posting as the original will soon be too many pages behind for readers who only skim the first page to notice. As I often do, I’ve ripped the various images of artwork and renders from both the Japanese and North American websites for Dissidia Duodecim 012. Normally these are posted in topics, but as it has been requested, I shall post these up on the main page.

Images are after the jump. Note, not all the characters have their full allotment of images available yet. For completionist sake, I’m even tossing in ripped content from the original Dissidia page (and Universal Tuning), to fill in what isn’t on either country’s Dissidia Duodecim 012 site.

Needless to say, after the jump there are many thumbnails for all the images. Loading times may vary.

How to save the images:
Best way to go about it, is to use the middle button (scroll-wheel) on your mouse. That should open the image in a new tab.

Though I’m not 100% sure if that works in all browsers (I’m using Firefox). In the event you don’t have a scroll-wheel, then I believe right-clicking on the thumbnail should give you the option to open it in a new tab/window, and you should be able to save it from there.

I may re-post this once all the characters have their various artwork/renders available.

FF Dissidia Universal Tuning Official Site Alternate Renders

Posted on November 3rd, 2009 at 1:50 AM by ForceStealer

Cloud_S has again graced us with renders pulled from the UT website, this time of the characters’ alternate costumes such as Green-haired Terra and Squall’s SeeD uniform. These aren’t quite as high quality as the last set but appreciated nonetheless.

As a reminder to anyone interested Dissidia Universal Tuning is identical to the Western release of Dissidia save for the ability to switch between the Japanese and English battle dialogue.

The Darkness of Shinra – Deepground’s History Revealed

Posted on September 6th, 2009 at 2:47 PM by Makoeyes987

Deepground.

This location has been the most esoteric plot addition to the Compilation of FFVII for Western fans, due to the lack of an international release of Dirge of Cerberus’s short lived Multiplayer mode.

Following the release of the single player Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus in Japan in 2005, an online mode was established to enable fans of the title to use their honed skills to do battle in a multiplayer environment based on the world and characters created by the original. Dirge of Cerberus: Online allowed the player to delve deeper into the history of the secret facility of Deepground, and of the antagonists of the single player mode; the Tsviets. The player controlled a newly-recruited Deepground SOLDIER entangled in the conspiracy that led to the eventual seizure of power by the Tsviets. Unfortunately, many secrets regarding its back story, NPCs, and overall plot have been lost due to its subsequent canceling on September 29, 2006, after a mere 7 months of service.

However, S & G, has been able to accumulate numerous images and some hard to find details regarding the intricacies of this online mode’s storyline, and has compiled a lengthy synopsis of the history of Deepground and what US fans might have missed in this rare, and now completely out of production chapter of the Compilation of FFVII. You can read his awesome history synopsis, with some hard to find screenshots below.

To commemorate the release of Advent Children Complete and the Final Fantasy XIII demo, Mainichi Issho – the PS3 online game starring Toro the cat – has released a special FFVII-themed episode, featuring stuff like the characters acting out scenes from the original game.

Tetsuya Nomura also did a drawing of Toro and Kuro dressed as Cloud and Sephiroth for the game: (click for a full size image). In addition to this there’s also some videos of the game on youtube. Read more to view the images

Dirge of Cerberus – Final Fantasy VII Artwork Collection

Posted on March 24th, 2009 at 8:14 AM by Makoeyes987

Included with the US release of Dirge of Cerberus – Final Fantasy VII, was a bonus art gallery that contained all the concept artwork for the enemies, items, locations and weapons shown within the game. To view this gallery you had to go through the extra missions, but now you can view the artwork here straight off the game. A big thanks to Suzaku for ripping these from the game. Also included are the five hidden exclusive wallpapers that were released on the US official site. With that, enjoy the multimedia update!

Final Fantasy VII: 4th Disc – Perfect Guide Images

Posted on November 27th, 2008 at 12:33 PM by X-SOLDIER

The mostly unknown 4th Disc of Final Fantasy 7′s International Version has some additional content that many people are unaware of due to the fact that the extra disc is only available in the Japanese Region format. Back when the Advent Pieces box set was released, I took a large number of screenshots of the various pieces of extra content shown on the disc. There are 112 images uploaded in total. Most of the images are composed of the special viewable items. There are a few additional ones near the end of other images, including some Beta version footage Final Fantasy VII. The disc also contains images and models of all of the weapons & key items in the game, as well as 3D models of the vehicles that can be animated during the game. The images that were taken have been uploaded and organized by which city they were found in.
