    Aerith UGLY?!

Not ugly. Also, I don´t think she looks all childish and glittery, which would have been a disappointment. So I´m fine with the way she currently looks. For those of you who don´t, I guess once you start playing the game you´d get accustomed to her new look.

    What are you reading?

Finished Mortality, by Christopher Hitchens last week. As with The Ocean at the End of the Lane from Neil Gaiman (a genius in my books). Now I'm reading A Tale of Two Cities , by Charles Dickens (finally).

    What are you reading?

Blood Meridian, or the Evening Redness in the West, by Cormac McCarthy The endless descriptions in this book are amazing, from the rocks of the desert to the saddle of a horse, giving way to a deep atmosphere as if I were standing in the middle of it all. Quite violent scenes in this book also...

    Last Film You've Seen

Blue Is the Warmest Color. A lovely french film about love and life, focusing on sexuality. There's lots of explicit nude scenes in this one.

    The Hobbit

Saw it last week, and I liked. There seemed in instances that the direction and story seemed to fit Tolkien's later wish to encase The Hobbit's story a bit more into the LOTR, an exaple being the more significance in the movie that's given to the Ring, as far as I can tell. I really liked...

    What are you reading?

Done with 2666. Excellent book, even though the fourth part is very macabre. I especially enjoyed the part about the critics (the first part) and Archimboldi's part (the last one). Now I'm starting to read Bartleby y Compañía by Enrique Vila-Matas.

Hayao Miyazaki retires after the release of his next film

Sucks for us fans, but well deserved if that's what he wishes. I love his style in all his movies, the few anime of which I soundly enjoyed watching in recent years, and which can be seen over and over. Can't wait for his next one.

    What are you reading?

it's pretty much what I did during the previous summer holiday, staying inside more than I should, maybe, but I was glad to catch up before the show's new season aired. Recently finished Boquitas Pintadas by Manuel Puig (again), and now into the 2nd part of Roberto Bolaño's 2666 (which, by the...
