The first time I was truly exposed to Final Fantasy VII was when I played my second PlayStation 2 game ever, Kingdom Hearts. That was 2002. I momentarily thought Cloud Strife was related to Sora cuz of the blue eyes and spiky hair, though blonde. Um…and I liked how Steve Burton did the voice for Cloud…I can’t imagine any other American voice actor lending him an English voice. So that was cool. Then 2004 on G4’s “Cinemateque” show, I saw a trailer for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children and Cloud looked sooo cool in CGI. I went like, “Is THAT Cloud??? OMG!!” And that was the reason why I had to finally buy Final Fantasy VII and play it myself. I am almost done with it, not quite; Cloud and the gang are on their way to the Northern Cave in Disc 2. Don’t get me wrong, though, because unfortunately I already know what happens in the end of the game and so on. But I still want to finish the game anyway. Now I have the movie DVD and finished the main part of Dirge of Cerberus. But I don’t have FFVII: ACC. Pooh.
So yeah. Cloud. And Vincent Valentine is my #2 favorite Final Fantasy character of all time. Next is Zidane, even though I didn’t play FFIX, but I have Dissidia FF. Noctis Lucis Caelum is growing on me, so he is #4 on my FF fave list. I mean, come on, Tetsuya Nomura did the character designs for FF Versus XIII, so of course Noctis reminds me of Cloud because of the black and the zippers and um…sad face.

Playing video games (Mega Man X now!!!!), blogging, writing science fiction, reading science fiction and fantasy, napping, annoying my cats, drawing on occasion, reading Nintendo Power and Playstation the Official Magazine and The Writer, I'll try to remember more cuz I know there's more...
