Virginia Halas McCaskey, owner of the Chicago Bears since 1983 and Super Bowl champion (Super Bowl XX), at age 102. McCaskey inherited the franchise upon the death of her father, Bears founder George "Papa Bear" Halas, and the biggest highlight of her ownership of the Bears is of course the famous 85 Bears that won Super Bowl XX.

I'm not a Bears fan, but I can't help but do THIS famous toast in her honor.

RIP to Ernie Gygax, the first ever player of Dungeons & Dragons along with his sister. Ernie created the first ever character in the game that would eventually be called D&D, a wizard named Tenser (an anagram of Ernest). His next character was Serten, also a wizard and also an anagram, with the added benefit of setting up puns, which is what Dungeons & Dragons is really all about, isn’t it?

Both of these characters are still household names in the hobby, with their spells Tenser’s Floating Disk and Serten’s Spell Immunity enduring in our imaginations.

wtf is going on?

Considering the mysterious circumstances, I'd say this is yet another case of the Superman Curse (which affected his own co-stars from that film franchise, such as Marlon Brando, Margot Kidder, and the most notable curse victim of all, Christopher Reeve). Considering how successful his film career had been post-Superman and how long he lived, I legit thought he'd completely escape the curse.

Hackman's pacemaker failed, according to the autopsy report. His wife and dog were found in the bathroom with an open pill container but idk what to make of that, I don't believe there's much available that'll kill someone that quickly. They had been dead for nine days before they were discovered, too.
