First of all, great design and great idea!

Without broader context, it’s hard to know if this design is a good fit for Zeus. I have questions!

Has he killed his parents yet? With a reimagining he might not need to kill them, he could have gotten them arrested or something. Regardless! Is he still under their thumb, or is he the king of the roost?

Is he going to be your hero, a villain, or a complicated secondary character?

What is the context of this modern setting? This design is giving a wealthy private school vibe, is Olympus going to be like Azabu in Tokyo?

It’s a great character design on its own, but I would love to see it next to some of the other gods to get a feel for the Zeusiness of this guy :)

Thanks! I'm happy you like it! Thanks also for your questions, I'll try to answer them as best as I can, Ite!

Very good question to start off with, but in this version no, he did not ;) He's the king of his group, but is he not under their thumbs or not, well, that remains to be seen ;)

Is he going to be a hero or a villain? This is where it gets very interesting, and I can't spill the surprise yet, but very soon I'll spill the beans ;)

Another very good question which will be revealed very soon ;)

I see what you mean, I'll post another character after I finish replying to Clicky Person. Please check it out and let me know your thoughts.

It sounds like you're very knowledgeable about Greek myths :) Are you a big fan?

Lol, he does, doesn't he :) Did you notice the Aegis on his glasses?
The thing that looks like Medusa's head? Yeah, just wasn't sure what to call it.

Odin looks good too especially with the eye that he ripped out and sacrificed being covered, but a little too serious. Ya gotta remember that Loki was his favorite drinking buddy for the longest time, and so while Odin is wise and bad ass, he's also rather jovial and neither gives nor takes any shits. I mean, that second part is covered in the look you have. Hell, half the stuff Loki got up to I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't Odin's idea first.

Oh!! So, it’s not just Greek mythology high you’re doing, it’s world mythology. That’s awesome!

Odin looks great, and now that I see them next to each other I get a much better sense of the vibe and think both are really well suited. Colour me intrigued!

Yes, in ancient Greek mythology, the Aegis, sometimes in the shape of a shield had great power and it was often used by both Zeus and Athena. But having it as one of the lens of his glasses seemed pretty cool, lol :)

You make a very good point about Odin. I have to remember, like you said, he's much more than his wise and serious side. Lol, Loki working out the will of Odin, I never thought about that, lol :)

Yes, it's not just Greek mythology. Are you familiar with other ancient myths? Awesome! Once I tell you my surprise, which I can't reveal yet, I think you'll really be happy ;)

I love reading about ancient myths, but I tend to take a meandering route and miss things from time to time. Like the Aegis! And yeah that's a pretty cool place to put it.

Yeah, I always imagine it happening while they're both deep in their cups and Odin will suggest something to Loki in such a way as to make it seem like Loki's idea.

I'm really happy that you like the placement of the Aegis! You just made my day!

Those two have a pretty interesting relationship, lol :)

Are you familiar with the Morrigan, the Celtic goddess? How do you think she'd do against Odin in a fight?

Not as familiar with the Celtic gods. Hmmm, the Morrigan from what little I remember is associated with crows and battle fields, and maybe magic. Uhh, I don't know who would win that fight.

I know what I'm reading about next though.
