So, the story is that I've been kind of hammering away at my guitar tone lately, and since I'm in a couple of bands that do a wide swath of covers all the way from the 1960s up to Franz Ferdinand's "Take Me Out," I have to have a "Batman's Utility Belt" approach to it. I need to be able to turn from the Beatles into STP at a moment's notice, and it's quite the puzzle. This is me, trying to replicate Dean DeLeo's tone from "Interstate Love Song." It's a simple recording I made into my iPhone 7, but I feel the take was good.
