Definitely one of the harder soundtracks to judge, so many good ones. Always loved the Crystal World FFVII-inspired theme myself.

Necron was my ONE issue with FFIX, and it may well have rivalled FFVII as my favourite if they hadn’t just crammed him/it in as the final boss...

Loved the soundtrack for this game. Some nice throwbacks in there, and the villains have great themes.

I’ve only played 4, not including Remake (which I can’t judge considering we’ve only had Part 1), so my rankings would be: FFVII FFIX FFX FFVIII

FFIX is amazing, really need to replay it sometime as it’s been way too long. Very nearly matches FFVII for me, but just falls short for one or two reasons (a very big one coming late on).

One of the most tense moments of Part 1.

Yaphet Kotto, best known for his roles in Alien and Live And Let Die, has passed away at the age of 81.

A blink and you miss it, poorly animated appearance from the characters in a bonus level just doesn’t cut it... :P

Man, I wanted a Sonic game based on the SatAM cartoon so badly. Still do actually... :huh:

For me, it’s the first three games, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic Mania. I don’t count anything that happened in the 20+ years in between. Except Mean Bean Machine, obviously...

Yeah, definitely! Although I probably won’t pay much attention to the FFVIII playthrough... 😏

I need to start reading up on Crisis Core and DoC, otherwise I’m going to be very confused when this comes out...
