Project Luminous- Collection of Star Wars Stories

I read Light of the Jedi and Into the Dark to try and get a grip on the era. Think that was enough for me. Into the Dark leans heavily into 'complain about the Jedi' if that's your thing.
Takes less effort to draw water from the same well and then complain about the taste than...

Project Luminous- Collection of Star Wars Stories

Just finished 'Into the Dark' I'm kinda sad at the direction the canon appears to be going. It was what I was expecting, but my expectations were pretty low. They really have no ideas beyond 'complain about the PT era Jedi.' From the PT era itself to fifty years after they're all dead, and now...

Final Fantasy VII Remake, One Year Later

I haven't replayed it since, so my opinion hasn't changed. I was fine with the Whispers, I thought they were completely hilarious as the physical incarnation of the angry fanbase. And they're sort of a necessary plot function in making the player think 'don't take this story for granted'...

    FF Novice Plays FF IX

I'm very bad at ranking things, I always feel like I'm being unfair. My three favourites are IX, XIII (the first game only), and Dirge. I know them so well that I can't play them anymore. Never played XI or XIV, or III-VI.

    FF Novice Plays FF IX

I remember hearing Not Alone the first time and stopping playing just to listen to it.

Jenova Experiments asside from Project G/S

After you defeat Jenova in the cargo ship, Cloud refers to that monster as 'the right arm' of Jenova. Leaving pieces of herself lying around is kinda her thing.

Deathguise always reminded me of Gizamaluke.

    Cyberpunk 2077

Crossed my mind, not gonna lie. Side quests are still excellent. The sheer number of distinct and varied missions is impressive by itself.
So are you working backwards from IX, or did I not notice seven other threads again?

    FF7 Headcanons and Discussion

They don't (and can't) know that. At a minimum, the Imps will set up more checkpoints and things(as they do in game), but it's extremely likely that they will do things to assert their control or launch campaigns to root out dissidents and survivors. Even if it is true that nothing much will...

    FF7 Headcanons and Discussion

You're living in no mans land between two warring powers, nominally under one, but frequently have to deal with Imperials falling from the sky and attacking people. One day, they nuke the capital city. What happens next?

Seems more likely that would lend itself to the opposite attitude, TBH.

I'm up to where I watched an LP to. Now on, undiscovered country. My god this is fun.

    FF7 Headcanons and Discussion

In terms of worldbuilding, I prefer individual isolated towns, in part because it makes the world feel different than ours, plus makes sense with all the monsters in the wild. I do think there is more than we see, but if a world with vastly different physics doesn't also have different culture...

help tracking down an old fanfiction?

If that actually happens I'll be completely crushed. So much time, so many old friends, all my work, all kaput. I honestly don't like A03. #SaveFF.net
