It's really unreal, only in this fan base, we still question who the main character love after kissing one and only one other character. The devs went out of their way to have that kiss specifically in the game where Aerith is still alive to shutdown all the "what if" and yet here we are.

Why would Aerith talk about Zack but Tifa wouldn't talk about Cloud? But that's the thing I never said anything about Aerith? Why would I by the way? Aerith never tries anything romantically towards Cloud because even herself can't sort out her feelings.

We know that Aerith and Tifa wanted to have a talk about first love after Cloud interrupt their conversation in the ship. In Gongaga we know that Tifa knows about Zack and Aerith relationship. It's pretty easy to conclude that from that point Aerith knows about Tifa feelings for Cloud.

No I don't think she does, I was just entertaining the idea that even if she does, I don't Tifa has any idea. And as I already said, I think it is Aerith who's trying to deepen Cloud and Tifa bond by showing Tifa that Cloud was there for her when they were little.

To be honest I really don't know how they're going to fit everything that's left from OG (and things they wildly seems to have expanded on line Wutai) and finish up whatever they're trying to do with the timelines in a satisfying way in just one game.
