    Red Dead Redemption

To add onto that, it's worth noting that Rockstar certainly aren't the only company involved in this practice. It's a systematic problem within the industry. And it's well worth it Lex. Awesome game and I've barely even scratched the surface so far.

Hopes for Remake & Rebirth (story/content)

I was talking about what we've seen of the Remake so far. The ps4 has definitely been pushed by other companies.

    Red Dead Redemption

    I'm afraid not.

Hopes for Remake & Rebirth (story/content)

You mean like the massive build up, which got everyone salivating, and then resulted in the announcement of the PS4 port of the game? :mon: I don't think anyone can ever truly argue that the marketing decisions by Square aren't beyond strange, even considering cultural differences.
  5. Claymore

    Red Dead Redemption

I've barely even started, but my jaw simply continues to drop every minute within this game. Painstakingly crafted doesn't even come close to describing it. Really enjoying the slow burn to the opening segment, with the multiple mechanics and activities gradually being introduced, and more...

Hopes for Remake & Rebirth (story/content)

Unfortunately, I wouldn't say that we have seen anything so far which indicates that they are pushing the boundaries of the PS4 in any real direction. Whatever has happened behind the scenes, I feel that whatever they present next will be really telling.

You mean a picture of Aerith that is supposed to sustain us for 6 months before the next 'information'? :awesome::mon:

Hopes for Remake & Rebirth (story/content)

The REAL question here is how long it will be between 'episodes' 'parts' 'installments' (whatever you want to call it). Not to mention, how much content we think we're going to get in each segment. As everyone keeps hammering home, game development takes time. And these aren't just tacked on...

"Hold my beer" comes to mind. But in all seriousness, yeah, I can totally see them doing this.

Hopes for Remake & Rebirth (story/content)

You don't think that they want a slice of the Remastered / cross-generational pie? Lol. The first part will be released on the PS4. A remastered version of the first part on the PS5, with subsequent parts on the PS5.

    Red Dead Redemption

I've tried not to read too many reviews, but I'm blown away by all the comments about the technical achievements with this game and the beautifully crafted open world design that is unmatched. That you can still find new things to surprise you 50+ hours in is simply outstanding. Game is on the...

    Good survival horror games

You mentioned that you have played Resident Evil but how much of the series have you specifically gone through? Certainly, your millage within it will vary as it gradually evolves into a more action-orientated genre, but some of the more recent entries like Revelations and VII bring a lot of the...

    Doctor Who!!~

Really solid opening episode. The group dynamics were seriously on point and the story was engaging throughout. Jodie feels like a cross between Smith and Eccleston and I'm loving it.
