My issue with Trunks isn't that he could achieve that level as well, but rather that him being at that level right now is inconsistent with what we've already seen in this arc. For example, previously in this arc Trunks went against SS3 Goku and was stomped, and further stated that that level...

Its certainly a possibility, but I dunno. I don't get the feeling that thats the direction that this story is looking to take. Especially since I don't think that present Zamasu has jumped fully into villainy. He's close, but I don't think he's quite there yet.

So, it turns out Black is a fucking beast. This new arc really is getting better and better as it goes. Its funny, at one point all I wanted for Super was for it to just get up to par, and now its giving me what might very well be one of my favorite plot arcs in the franchise.
