Playing Eternal Sonata now. The combat in this games seems rather brutal and unforgiving, to the point where it honestly frustrates me a bit, but everything else about the game is absolutely amazing.

Pretty much. Near as I can tell they are completely disregarding everything except the movies, the TCW tv series, and the upcoming Star Wars Rebels tv series.

From what I've heard, they aren't actually keeping any pre-existing stories or characters from the EU, but they will be using them as inspiration. Also, for some odd reason they have changed the name of Korriban to Moraband. Not sure why, they left everything else about it exactly the same.

So, I've noticed that Xbox one prices are going down a bit around my area. Currently, I can find one for about $379. Normally I'd go playstation 4, but all my IRL friends play Xbox. Given that information, has anyone here played the Xbox one enough to tell me if its worth my time?

Played with Black Ops 2 a bit. I found the experience to be meh. On the other hand, I've also been playing tales of symphonia. While the voice acting is kinda crap, and the dialogue not great, the gameplay, soundtrack, and overall story is quite good.

Found out that Ghost Recon online is free to play so I gave it a go. Turns out its actually pretty fun, and unlike most competitive shooters I play, I'm actually able to hold my own. I'd like to get some friends together and try the game that way, since its very much a teamwork based game.

Keeping in mind that I've never read the books, can somebody tell me exactly how long it'll be before we actually see the White Walkers do something? Should I expect that next season, for example? Or am I going to be waiting for a while?

Decided to give Dark Sols another try. This time I'm playing a Wanderer. Not very far in yet, and if I remember the way this game works, then it will probably be a while before a I can boast any great progress.

Last game I played in 2013 was FFVIII. As of yet I have played no games in 2014, but betting your money on either Skyrim or FFVIII would not be unwise.
