Mostly agree with this (I liked FFT but would sub FFX in its place). No other RPG has ever come close to those three for me (Xeno, FFVII, FFX), and VII is in a stratosphere all by itself.

I'm not sure I take their "more plot devices in the story" as confirmation they won't be tinkering with the original story too much. I'm optimistic; I just want them to do the original justice.
