SE gives about a year for its tentpole games to do their thing before going on to the next tentpole, marketing-wise. Given that Yoshi-P was intending to have something in early 2021 for a release soon after, and given the half year delay, it's reasonable to expect 16 by 2022 summer. Which means...

I dunno why we're still holding them to the promise of this year when Yoshi P has indicated they aren't ready yet. And he's more concerned about promising more information very close to the release date than promising information now and making everyone wait for the game until 2023 or something.
