That's what it sounds like to me.. Why would they ask those questions? If we were going to follow the original storyline then they are already answerd. BUT, since were not following the original, lose questions are opened to be asked.

Oh Zack is defnitely alive. Everything that theyve shown supports it. He's not in an alternate timeline, were already IN the alternate timeline!! Thats what remake is. Not the same timeline from original. Its OK guys just accept it. We have a NEW story with a new adventure! This is a good...

Ehhh...idk, maybe you're right but I get the jist that we are getting a totally new adventure. With a completely different ending. This is a parallel universe from the original and anything is possible.

Well, i think youre all wrong because honestly, I dont think this game is going in any direction we've ever seen...I think remake was about as close to the originals storyline as it will get. Now its time to go completely off the rails! That's just my opinion though. Of course they will...
