Is Terra limping her way home or is someone gonna pick her up to hurry her along? :B

IIRC, Nova picks her up bodily and carries her (and Kram).

And seriously, there's a phone at their apartment - Chris left a message on it, and they talked before Emma left to find Terra. If they call on the way to the apartment, there won't really be time for everyone to get there, sit down, relax a bit, and start talking about what's happened before Chris and Riese arrive. On the other hand, if they call when they get there, there's plenty of time for that, plus Kram and Idris' talk, etc.

Makes me wonder how big the apartment is, and if their complex is leasing. =/

Everyone can hop on a barrier and FLY to the apartment.

But Seriously I reckon just make the phone call at the apartment. We're supposed to be making a rushed, hasty escape. I dont think it will feel like that much of an escape event if somebody has to make a phone call to get food brought in. In my opinion thats not the kind of thing that would be on their mind.

Well we can skip the food. I guess I was just looking for a reason to get Riese and Chris there. But maybe I can make them already be there?

Also, I know there is a phone in the apartment (lol duh), but I figured if they called from there that would just be too much time waiting for those two to show up.

Also figured that the Dessies need nourishment but I guess they can just all starve for now. Makes no difference to me.

So I'll probably just make Chris and Riese already be there, or they can just randomly show up part of the way through?

It's important for my story that they be there, if only for a short time. :/

I think Emma should make the phone call when they get there. That way Chris and Riese will get there, but before then the Dessies have a chance to relax alone in freedom.

Also Lokka is going to be involved in a very lulzy event, which includes wandering aimlessly around the apartment block.

You could have them already be there if they saw Emma on the news during the battle with the army. Perhaps they came to the appartment to wait and see if she came back there because they were worried about her. Mayhaps? :'

ALRIGHTY so so far this is the outline:


  • Idris surveys the Fiotis with the rest of the gang – quick musing ensues
  • Nova comes in and grabs Terra and Kram, shouldering a hole into the wall to escape from
  • They start their run through the sewers that way, the sounds of the Pures ripping the nightclub apart behind them
    • Fiona and Thetis have some of their unspoken dialogue here
  • Find a manhole and everybody climbs up it; Nova puts Terra and Kram down when on the surface
    • Emma starts to help Terra limp as fast as possible (???), Kram just gets up on his own with lots of indignation
  • The team gets caught while it’s righting itself by one or two stray guards who have come in to survey the blasted area – one of the Destrillians (Kerr) takes them out, and then points out that there is obviously a problem with just standing around so why are we still here, let’s go NOW.
  • They start off in a random direction (away from the noises of more guards, I guess,) with the order roughly as follows: (from back to front) Lokka and Kram, Emma and Terra, Thetis and Fiona, Jettison and Nova, Stolz, Idris, and Kerr.
  • Somebody raises the question “WHERE ARE WE EVEN GOING” and Emma and Terra suggest their place.
    • Terra suggests it and all the Destrillians, who are used to following psychic instruction, just SWERVE to follow Terra and Emma, and Jettison, Nova and Kerr are all “WHAT.”
  • At the prompt of somebody (Stolz?) Emma says that she can call in a friend to bring them food – but she needs a cell
  • After a while of running, Thetis starts going too slow so Fiona picks her up in the fireman’s lift. They all continue booking it until they get to Emmerra’s place
  • They storm the apartment and make for the elevator. Because they’re smart. They all cram into one elevator, but Lokka, who would’ve been last in, just… LOOKS, at them all there and goes “No thanks, I think I’ll take the stairs.”
  • Insert awkward elevator music scene.
  • They tear out of that elevator and wrench open the door to Emmerra’s, and then all rush in. (Sans Lokka, mind.) The Destrillians just sort’ve crash on whatever available surface there is and BOOM done.

So the things I don't have ready are a) Stolz' bits for certain. NOEN I NEED YOUR HELP BE HERE.
Secondly, the issue of Chris and Riese. Alex, your idea is good - about having them already there. Conversely, it also works for Emma to just call them when she arrives home. Everybody agree on one so I know how to end the post.

Another issue is that I really don't think Emma can help Terra limp along during their getaway - Terra is just TOO SLOW, so I think Nova will have her over his shoulder the whole time. I haven't changed it in the outline yet, but...

Lastly, Aki, I need your approval and collaboration for when Terra suggests her and Emma's place.

Thoughts?

Lokka wont be taking the elevator and instead will wander the halls, searching for the correct room.

Chris should open the door to Cesspool Eyes, Making Lokka think he has the wrong room again :monster:

Its a comic relief moment as Lokka is the most unfamiliar with the group of Destrillians. Besides, he will be very late entering Emmerra's room and therefore would mean Kram cannot make his salad :wacky:
