TLS's Forum Modifications: 8/30/2010

As all of you should have noticed, the forums have been re-arranged. This should get some talking, so I'm going to explain everything that's been done, and why it was done. Feedback and comments are appreciated.



Compilation Section
• Condensed from the individual titles into Pre-, During, and Post- FF VII sections to help stimulate activity and cross discussion between relevant titles.
• Fan Section added for bringing FF VII Compilation projects into a bigger scope in the forums.

Final Fantasy Section
• Classic Final Fantasy section added.
• Neo Final Fantasy section added.
• Sub-Final Fantasy section added.


Site Section
• Moved above General section to increase scope of focus on Site Projects and member contributions.

General Section
• Moved below Site Section for closer proximity to the chatbox, and focus.
• Moved Introduction Section above General Discussion.
• Moved Donator's Section between Introduction and General Discussion.

I think it looks great.

The only thing I think I might recommend is putting the Intros thread somewhere closer to the top. It makes sense where it is, but when I join a new forum, that's normally the first thing I look for.

Maybe putting the Intro threads above the General Discussion section would be better?

Done. That actually makes a lot of sense, and I think it flows a bit better now. I bumped the Donator area up above GD as well. Updated the first post to reflect the changes.

Feel free to reply if you have another suggestion, or if it should be reverted.
