Aerith's Bracelet Thingies

Does anyone know where I can buy something resembling Aerith's bracelet things? I've seen crappy versions on cosplay shopping sites, but they look awful.

I wouldn't even really know how to make something like that. :/

Hmm do you mean the ones from her original design or from AC? Both designs look sort of industrial to me, Like they're made from plumbing offcuts or pipes or something. Maybe B&Q would have something similar?

Is this for cosplay or a gift? Depending on how much you want to spend it might be worth checking out Etsy and getting something custom made. I'll keep searching for "cuff bracelets/bangles" and see if I can find anything else.

hmmm I might be able to make them out of foam strips sprayed silver.

Im not sure if I'll do it, but I was thinking of trying to do a draw my life thing as Aerith.

Could be funny as other characters, like Sephiroth or Cloud, before he learned the truth

IMHO, I'd build up the shape with craft foam, then wrap calico bandages around them to give definition before spray-painting them silver. If you do that, make sure you primer them first or it'll have a shitty finish. Dry-brushing detail if you're that anal would look good too.

I think i am on right place. You should buy your choice of bracelets from Sonal's Bijoux and Adawna jewellery Shopping store. This shop is well known for bangles and bracelets.

Another good suggestion is finding someone who makes cosplay accessories with a 3d printer. I've seen some good Game of Thrones accessories made with 3d printers on cosplay pages, and those aren't near as simple as Aerith's bracelets. Look on Etsy for some good shops.

I do know there used to be some technical reason (same with closing threads after an X amount of posts), but that's no longer relevant.

I felt they wore just like big bangles made out of whatever was lying around made into jewelry. I never got the feeling all three bands were connected, but I also never wanted to cosplay her so I've never done a study on her design.
