Let me be the first to applaud you for your effort here, but is there a comparison video out there somewhere? I don't specifically remember having issues with the SFX when I played through the Steam version, and I normally pick up differences like that, especially given the poor sound in VII and VII's PC ports.

EDIT: Wait is it a quality/ bitrate thing? I vaguely remember there being some "noise".

Looks like you've been hard at work, interesting to see so many mods for IX. Will keep an eye out for a UI mod
