Right now the snow images are kinda generic though, I wonder if anyone has a good idea about making it more... lifestreamy? idk.

Snow images atm are:

to give you a rough idea.

Another thing... it's not very light on resources, :awesome:. It takes up 25% CPU usage on my machine. Which is kinda weird tbh, one would think that shit would be optimized by now. Might be able to make it faster using a fixed position background element that translates instead of animating the background-position css change, but eh.

I could do that actually for an alternative skin, that would be neat. I'd have to play with the animation though, I don't like the jerkyness. Off course, I could make the animation a lot slower, then it'd be less obvious (it lasts for 10 seconds now before it restarts).

If you could give me images like the snow ones (which I can't actually see because white background in browser hurr durr - not sure if it's a grid of snowflakes or just single ones, I think a grid of sorts), I could have a fiddle.

See if you can do it with those images. It looks like the ones in the distance move slower. Thats how I did that animation. They just have a tiny bit of sway as they go up.
