This is completely random, but it's the kind of thing I think about, so humour me.
If you could only play either odd- or even-numbered Final Fantasy games (and their directly numbered sequels), which would you choose?
Odds: I, III, V, VII, IX, XI, XIII, XIII-2, ...
Evens: II, IV, VI, VIII, X, X-2, XII, XIV, ...
The restriction applies to future games as well, so if you pick odds you can play XV when it comes out, while you'll have to wait for XVI if you pick evens.
I think the sets are pretty balanced: they contain the same number of games, and they each contain one online game and one sequel.
I can't decide which I'd pick. My top four games are VI, VII, IX and XII, and although I'd probably miss VII and IX a tiny bit more than VI and XII, I think the rest of the even set is stronger than the odd set. I'll have to think on it. How about you?

Don't stop at modulo two - how about three, four or more?
