You know what? Just forget it.
If CBR is a community where referring to a bad writer with a colloquialism meaning "a professional who produces sub-par work" (which, ya know, *is* a critique of the man's work; which you erroneously claim is fine) will get you banned, but the litany of bigoted and misogynistic comments I've been fighting in threads on your forum for the past year won't, then it's not a community I want to be part of anyway.
You shame yourself and you shame me as a fellow comic fan when someone can't call out shoddy work (even while defending the guy's decision to reveal Iceman as gay), but you'll let a post like this stand on your forum in a thread about diversity:

That's barely the tip of the iceberg of the offensive, insulting shit that has gotten a pass -- but oh no, I can't call a spade a spade when it comes to one hack writer who is all grand ideas and crap execution.
Were I you, I'd be thoroughly ashamed to allow the shit you have in threads about the female Thor and Iceman's revelation as being gay -- to know the new readers Marvel is trying to draw in can walk into my forum at any time and see that garbage -- but then trip over yourself in a frantic rush to defend one star writer (who inexplicably maintains that status after years of stilted dialogue, broken pacing and overly decompressed pages) from a pretty tame assessment of his mediocrity.
