First thing I'd like to apologise if I have posted in the wrong forum
and secondly I'd like to say hey!

I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy have been since I was ten years old and I have been reading these forums for quite some time and wanted to join but been quite apprehensive about joining.

I thought I'd break the ice by telling you a few of my favourite comics, anime, favourite ff game and would appreciate to know everyone's interests!

Favourite comic Batman, X-Men and the Walking Dead.
Manag/Anime, by far Berserk and I am really enjoying Blue Exorcist. I was enjoying Shingeki No Kyojin but the manga new arc I am beginning to loose interest as in my opinion it's gone overboard.
Favourite game, FFVII (my favourite characters are controversial I think) I also loved CC but wish Genesis was never in the game. I love eight, 10, type-0 and I think 15 was good but lacked story.

I look forward to hearing from everyone else.

Welcome aboard. Wrong section, indeed, but we're gentle :awesome:. As for your questions:

Favourite (western?) Comic Book: Watchmen. Not a big comic reader, so probably others I have yet to read that are more appealing to me.
Manga / Anime? Ghost in the Shell / Ghost in the Shell, respectively (:awesome:).
Favourite game: Metal Gear Online (MGS4 era) due to its gameplay. Too broke to have played much games in recent years to know if anything impresses me more.
Favourite FF game? I think FFVII is a complete package (quality of which SE is apparently capable of producing in about ONE YEAR :ffuuu:), but my heart belongs to FFXII.
Favourite character from FFVII? I've always had a soft spot for Yuffie, though probably wouldn't like her in real life :P.

So heres mine

Favourite comic: Er, to be honest I've never got into comics.

Manga/Anime: Dirty Pair and Ghost in the Shell. Attack on Titan/Shingeki no Kyojin is pretty interesting too, but I fear it descending into the usual shipping bollocks. I don't really care much about the characters but the setting/plot is pretty fascinating.

Favourite game: Zelda series, Shadow of the Colossus, Silent Hill when it was Good.

Manga / Anime? Full Metal Alchemist. I also loved Nana (the manga more than the anime) but it fizzled out

Favourite FF game? FFVII, FFIX, FFXII. I haven't played XV yet (roll on summer)
Favourite character from FFVII? In the game, Tifa, Barret and Cid. To play with - Tseng and Rufus.

And I'm more than happy to answer what my own interests are.
Favourite Comic: I don't read comics, but I guess technically this FFVII parody counts :) - It's exceptional.
Favourite Anime/Manga: Don't watch anime, but I have enjoyed the manga version of Koushun Takami's Battle Royale
Favourite FF Game: FFVII, then FFX, FFVIII (love all the ones I play of course, like IX, XII, X-2 & V - a little less for VI, but still enjoy it)
Favourite FF Character: ❤ Nanaki ❤
I could list so many more (starting with Kimahri) from many games, but I'll keep it short :awesome:

Favourite comic: Eh... I used to read X-Men, but I've never been a big comic person

Favorite Manga/Anime: I don't really do manga, but I do love the Naruto anime, and, for some reason, Yu Yu Hakusho.

Favourite Game: FF7... Favorite character is Reno, hands down. :)

Favorite Comics: I'm afriad I don't know much about comics. I always felt like I'd most like X-men, but I've only read Days of Future Past.
Favourite Anime: Hm, objectively, probably Trigun or Bebop. But I personally maintain a nostalgic affectation for Gundam Wing.
Favorite FF: VII, Tactics are tops, after that it becomes much more hotly contested.
Favourite FF7 Character: Cloud, Barret, Tifa, Red.

Thank you everyone for your welcomes! Feeling a little less nervous now. I should of said which character of the FFVII world I find most interesting NOT favourite is Hojo he's literally like the man behind the curtain secretly manipulating everything he's a total nut job, absolutely a wretched character but certainly interesting. I know I seem to keep whinging about the compilation but I hated his portrayal in DoC. I found him to serious in that in FFViI I can remember finding him quite comical with his stupid "hehe" and other nonsense.

Now my favourite character used to be Sephiroth my favourite character but again with my whinging (apologies) the compilation ruined the character for me. So my favourite are Cloud, Aerith and Cid.

Don't worry, he was only joking with you - you'll come to learn our sarcastic method of communication (punctuated by lots of :monster: and :wacky: and :wackymonster: with time :P

Favorite comic: I'm not much of one for reading comics, but I grew up watching the X-men animated series and I adore the Marvel movies now.
Favorite Manga/Anime: Again, haven't read much manga, but I do like anime. It's hard to pick an absolute favorite, but it might be Trigun, followed by Sailor Moon (for nostalgia's sake)
Favorite game: If we're talking FF, it's a tough toss up between FFVII and FFIX. Usually depends on which one I've played most recently :monster:
