NONONONONONONONONONONONONO.

MAJORA FIRST.

Then LttP. No offense, but you've basically done most of the work for uprezzing Major already. DO EET.

Doubt it'll be full 3D. Probably same layout and stuff, but 3d models

Initially I assumed the article was implying a full remake, but this is probably a lot more likely.

Either way, I love LttP, but I don't know how I feel about this - LttP holds up so well that I feel anything they do will end up sort of superfluous. I mean, a 3D Majora DEFINITELY needs to happen and it seems like a more logical follow up to the remake of OoT, so LttP as a possibility caught me off guard. Personally, I'd rather they focus on a new 2D LttP-esque (as opposed to PH/ST-esque) game than do a remake of any of the existing 2D ones.

This is evidently what they are doing. Which is fine by me; making LttP play like OoT would probably remove a great deal of its charm anyway.

I do agree that seeing a new 2D Zelda would be awesome, but I can still hope this will be well done. :monster:

Have to agree with Ryu about Majora's mask. Link to the past is my least favourite Zelda game. Do Majora ! It's exciting, thrilling and epic and imagine the creepy moon in 3D ! ahhhh *dreams * <3

^ I love Link to the Past, but I totally understand that if someone played Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask first, they might not find it quite as mind blowing.

My least favorites so far have been Spirit Tracks, because the Train element was fun but the Demon Train boss just pissed me off no end. I don't think I managed to beat him and then gave up.

Also, Twilight Princess still a very good game (lets face it there are no truly BAD Zeldas except those abominations on the CDi, and they don't count) but the Wolf side of things was annoying. If the Wolf thing had been a stand alone game it would have been fine (Okami  ) but its not what you really want in a Zelda game.

Aaaannyway. I'm guessing that this new LttP remake is just going to be in the style of PH/ST. Which is ok....I guess. But personally I'd rather see it realised in true 3D graphics. And not on a bloody handheld (I love my DS don't get me wrong - I just think they could make better decisions. The new pilotwings would have been so much better on the Wii. The Wiimote would be the ideal controller for fucks sake!)

For the record, that's not the case with me. I played Zelda games in order. My 'NONONONONO' is one of expediency and the ease of making Majora, and that they should wait for 3D-ing LttP.

Fun fact, one year, two friends of mine went as Amaterasu and Wolf Link to Animazement. Many jokes about their rivalyy and Midna (third friend) preferring Ammy were had.

The 3DS has a motion control gryoscope in it, though.
Still something like Pilotwings needs finer control.

Yeah I have no idea how anyone could find it "extremely dull". Unless you have no idea what to do. And the game usually tells you where you need to go, unlike the first entry in the series (which is supposed to tell you, but thanks to Blind Idiot Translation does not). There are a couple of instances where you'll probably need to consult a walkthrough but for the most part the game lets you know where most important shit is.

I didn't know what to do. Link had a voice in his head to save Zelda or some shit and you somehow have to find her, and then after that it doesn't really tell you what to do. I disagree. I don't like this game, chill sit down and eat a biscuit man. Not everybody has to like something just because it's poplaur.

Majora's Mask is great but I hate that fucking time limit travel through time shit uggh so annoying. Otherwise yeah, it's really fun. But every time I fail the Kafei mission I die a little inside.
Link to the Past is awesome though. There isn't really a Zelda game I dislike besides Wind Waker and Spirit Tracks and even then it's not that I dislike them it's just... lol wat?

It's because they assume the player is smart enough to figure out that the castle is just one screen up from Link's house...
And that there's always a cross or other kind of symbol on the map showing you where you need to go.
