Re: Sub-Forum

Just make threads in the Entertainment section. If there's enough interest and activity in the subject, we'll eventually make a subforum like we did for games.

Merging with the 'moar sections' thread now (before reading).

Also, I concur with

If you want an anime forum, talk about it a lot, and do it fgj.

Writing & Art section imho. :monster: But, if the subject does generate enough activity, we'll definitely create a section for it. That way you guys can have weekly contests and other things of that nature.

I highly doubt there's been any hinderance to your actual ability to suggest things rly.

Yeah, there really hasn't. The existence of a suggestions forum doesn't mean the staff is obligated to take every suggestion made by a member into effect; doing that would pretty much make the forum utter chaos, since different members have different ideas on how a forum should be run. Going with what the majority thinks is generally the most effective way to do things, and most people here don't seem to think there's enough activity to merit an animé/manga forum.

seriously, I tried the "If you build it they will come" approach with FG for about five years. It didn't work. There's actually been more discussion of almost everything since I got rid of all the super-specialised sections.

I did it with your whims, <3.

Wait, that sounds wrong.

But yeah, @ V. Whilst a section with a specific topic will, at least upon creation, generate some additional activity on that area, it'll soon reduce again. Not only that, but it'll make the forum look cluttered and busy. In fact, I find the amount of sections we have right now already on the high side.
