An explanation

[Sprites]

So I've been fairly quiet in recent weeks and well I feel I owe you wonderful people an explanation. I just came back from a weeks holiday and spent pretty much all of it with five of my closest friends, one of them, her mum sadly died just over a week ago after being extremely ill, for some of us who went to the funeral it had been a while since we'd seen each other properly (one lives in Edinburgh, the other was so swamped with college it was incredibly difficult to stay in contact and then I live in Galway) so we spent as much time together as possible for the rest of the week being there for her and each other.

Before I left for my weeks holiday I got the folder I'd been working on back from my regional manager and while there's one or two tweaks it's pretty much been given the all clear from her and my project is calling me, I'll receive it hopefully next week when she's back from her holidays and now that mine are over.

Just two days ago I also applied for a job promotion that I knew was coming up just before I left for my week off, the interview is going to be in a couple of weeks and it's not just in any store, it's luckily enough come up in Belfast so there's a fair chance within the next few weeks I could be moving back home for a good while coming.

Anyways I'm preparing early for the interview, trying to get things ready for my project, preparing interviews for new staff coming to our own store, organising a staff meeting for next week and spending a couple of days over the next two weeks running the store on my own due to holidays from other managers, it's a given in such a hands on store. My responsibilities have pretty much been upped to the max so my free time has gone down the drain.

I guess I could say that over the next couple of months, my time here is going to be really limited, I feel bad because I've been trying to do stuff to help with the site but I think I'm going to have to pass it over for the moment because with everything else happening I'm just not finding any time and it would be a waste for it to not go to someone who actually has the time to help.

I'll still call in here from time to time, like I have 2 days a week off and stuff but I'll probably use them to get work done on my project when it's handed to me and get things ready for the interview (I sorta really want the position and it's rare for it to come up back home as the management team there are pretty much all based there so higher positions rarely come up).

So yeah I'm sorry I can't be around much for the time being but that's life as they say,
