So the Cubs are probably not going to win the World Series (understatement) and I still don't have a hoover board but Back to the Future is still my favorite movie ever.

Hey, instead of obsessing over what we don't have, let's appreciate what we do have in this current era.

Such a great series of films.

The script in the first one is so damn good, too. It feels like no line is wasted, most stuff they say in the first half of the movie is a reference to some important shit or some other fun detail that will pay off later on.

Also, I love "The Power of Love". Always gets me in a good mood. :monster:
And that iconic Alan Silvestri score!

Thanks to BTTF2, 2015 basically had become synonymous with "THE FUTURE!!!" to me. Weird that from now on it'll all be in the past.

and I still don't have a hoover board

I want a hoover board. It sounds like something that I can ride around the house while vacuuming at the same time.

Seconding everyone, Back to the Future is magnificent shit. It's one of those things that I've always loved to death, and it makes my parents chuckle, because I was born many years after it was in full hype.

Hey, instead of obsessing over what we don't have, let's appreciate what we do have in this current era.

I was rather impressed last night when I read an article highlighting how many of the stuff in the movie has become pretty common. Okay, sure, we don't have scanners that control access to our houses, but smart TV's? The writers are totally going "Called it!".

Can't find a link now, on my phone, but it was confirmed by the writers that millionaire Biff is based on Donald Trump THINK ABOUT IT!

I custom made it, X-Soldier, as it represents my daily frustrations as a creative individual... :monster:

Plus I'm askin' them to change my name to Doc Brown. I need a character, and I feel like a goofy sob like Christopher Lloyd represents me well.

My family & I was the same. I watched all three this week and they brought back so many memories. I got a skateboard because of that film, though was never cool enough to get involved in the skateboard culture :D

What amazed me most about Jimmy Kimmel is that Doc's actor is still alive, I was sure he was like ancient back in BttF, but if my math is correct, he was only in his 50's or thereabouts back then, :monster:

Christopher Lloyd just turned 77, so he was 46 when the first BTTF came out. He was meant to look pretty old and they scrapped his old makeup for Part II.

I watched the whole trilogy Oct 21st and picked up 3 copies of the USA Today paper yesterday :P
