idk if other people do this but I tend to associate the poster's gender with the gender of the person in their avatar unless informed otherwise.

So Splintered is a dinosaur, problem solved.

There's some sort of program they use that runs by the users voice, I can't remember the name of it. But one of my close friends from high school is blind, and she uses the net all the time.

In my head, Looney looks exactly like Jane from Daria (because that was her first avatar when I saw her), Ryu looks like Ryu, and Dacon is actually batman.

I get crushed when I see people irl photos, so I tend to ignore them.
