FFXII had terrific voice acting, and attention to detail with the different dialects of Ivalice.
The Metal Gear Solid series also has to be up there, of course. ...And I'm sure there are quite a few that elude me right now, so I'll have to get back to you.

And by the way Nikk, its so badass the way KOS-MOS just starts beating the Gnosis with the gatling guns around 5:30, lol

I think it's fair to say everything KOS-MOS does is badass.
And while Killzone isn't the Halo killer, it's not a bad game IMO.

O yes, Legacy of Kain is probably the best I've ever heard, ever. Playing the original is my yearly Halloween ritual when I don't go out - turn out all the lights, turn the volume up, pipe it through the stereo, and play all night. His laugh is so chilling...amagad, Simon Templeman.
Also, yes, Xenosaga is really, really good, too. Same with MGS.
Valkyrie Profile had some terrific voice acting, but some of it sucked, too, so I can't toss that out there
And one would certainly be remiss not to mention just about every NIS game, particularly Disgaea. Only the original Laharl and Etna FTMFW.
