Black screen

I'm running it in Windows 98 compatibility mode, I'm running it as administrator, it gives me the new game/continue option, after I select new game it plays a sound and just goes black.

I can't play it because it only displays a blank screen.

I’m assuming you’re using the old discs? They don’t work on anything post-ME, even in compatibility mode, but it usually doesn’t rear its head until chocobo racing. Strange about the intro…

I installed it on Windows 98 virtual machine, problem is it uses 640*480 resolution and that resizes my VirtualBox window, and there's also this surrounding black area, it's too small.

sorry, that's because of the quarter screen setting, running it full screen now but still a bit small.

nice resizable window, only thing that bothers me is that I can't really pause it, if I press + time continues to increase.
