I have a whole playlist of cheesy pop I love. I'm not ashamed. I'll spare you guys and only give you a handful:

- Back From Mars - Aqua
- Day and Night - Billie Piper
- Bus durch London - Christina Sturmer
- Run Devil Run - Ke$ha (the Korean version by Girls Generation is more popular, but I don't know Korean, and tbh, both versions sound pretty much the same)
- most of the K-pop I have. The lyrics, when translated, are full of cheesy, cliche nonsense... it's just that the songs are so catchy. ;.;

"Bubblegum" pop is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine.

I feel the need to point out that with the exception of the mention of the Spice Girls (me too btw), Steps, Aqua and Billie Piper the rest isn't actually cheesy pop, it's just pop. (Maybe "Call Me Maybe", but I'd give it another year).

I don't even call it Cheesy Pop or Guilt Trip, I call it "music I shamelessly listen to". I even have a list on Spotify called "Shameless"

Most of it is Britney and horrible dance music, but there's also some Nicole Scherzinger, Nicki Minaj, etc. According to my bf the worst thing on that list is Sean Paul, but I happen to appreciate Sean Paul

Old boybands, especially Backstreetboys. And K-pop. Lots of k-pop...and little bit of Kat-tun and other Johnny's boys... ^^'

But what can I say. If the music makes me feel good, then why should I not listen to it.

Someone posted this cheesy little number on TLS a long time ago. I forget where and who it was, but every time I remember it I listen to it on repeat. Also the dance is cool.

I don't do embarrassment or shame when it comes to music. Here's a spectacularly cheesy song I rediscovered recently - hadn't heard it since I was four or five!
