This is something that comes up frequently on the Final Fantasy Wiki, so I'll ask you guys - when was Cloud born, and how tall is he? Various sources give conflicting statements on both these statistics. Some say he was born August 11, others August 19, and his height changes by an inch or two from source to source.

I do believe August 11th is the correct date because several sources have said so and the only source that said the 19th was the Playstation Manual. Dunno about the height though.

My reunion files artbook says he's born at the 11th.
Dunno about the height, but I guess it was about 1,73 m....

11th is the source the JP sources list. 1.73 m is IIRC his height.

Yep, from what I've read in the majority of sites it's August 11th. If i'm not mistaken he's 23 years old in AC. Not sure about his height.

I stick to August 19th and 5'7 personally, but yeah it is true that it has been said that his birthday now is on the 11th and according to someone in the DoC guide he is 5'8, but idk. :/

Actually, 5'7 is too low to begin with. 173cm = 68.11in. 68.11/12= 5 with 8.11 remainder.

So 5'8" is more correct, but 5'8" and 1/8th is even more precise.

Has it ever been explained why the PS1 manual said 8/19th or can we just handwave that as a typo?
