What's on your fanboy/girl wish list? I'm talking about stuff that's rare or hard to find that you've been pining over for years and whatnot...stuff you have to SCOUR the internet and save your money for.

I've been watching this music box for several years. The price basically never goes down. The description in the listing has been removed for some reason but it plays Aeris' theme song.

Literally I just need it for collectible purposes. FFV is one of my favourites and I'd really like to own the original copy. I have the original Playstation re-release but it's not the same.

Ohey I own that mines a psuedo knockoff though, original movement but placed in a new box (long story; on my phone lol)

I got a whole bunch of Aerith collectibles, pretty much everything official and a couple neat commissioned pieces too. Been thinking of starting a collection thread so people can share what they got

I got it off ebay. 2 grand at the time but still cheaper than most. I missed the period where he had a couple going for $700 in similar boxes a few years ago. I didn't have my credit card at the time and was too busy buying plane tickets for some boy.

One commish is in my sig but that's a close up. It's quite big, around 30+ cm of the entire landing/altar

Hot diggity...if you got yours for 2k, I'm really starting to wonder if I should buy it already....the lowest I've seen this listing go down to in the past few years was $500. Hm hm hmmmmmm....interweb research tells me the average price for it is $3k.

Are you sure that's the right one though? Because I've been following a listing very close to that and it plays a different movement, not Aeriths. (I maybe wanted to replace my box because it uglier than the originals )

How long has this one been listed? Why was the description taken down? THATS what worries me because they do go for a lot of money.

I know my way around detecting frauds of the box. Hang tight until I get home from work and I can pm you some details because I'm not quite sure of that link.

It's been listed for at least two years and I suspect now that it's not the right music box because I can't zoom in on the picture and the lister took down the entire description. ;___;

I have looked into commissioning something similar and custom music boxes (especially with so many notes) run around $2-3k. ;__;

When they released the Reno Play Arts figure, I thought I had everything I ever wanted. Sadly, not the case, so I still lurk on eBay way too much than is healthy.

I just recently bought the Reno/Rude mini figure from the anniversary Potion drink... thing. And the Sephiroth mini figure. And the Rufus Shinra Play Arts figure that I somehow completely missed when it was originally released (would like to grab the others in that series, too, for completion's sake, but they're a little out of my budget right now).

The lack of feedback also worries me.

I ran into that same issue. But the bigger one was the legality of it all. It's a licences song not public domain and thee weren't any that I got fair enough who would make a custom movement/replica of her theme without some sort of signed letter from SE saying it was okay. Never going to happen

You just have to watch ebay for the teal deal. They do come up and I can even try find the ebay Id of the guy I bought from and maybe you can message him if he had any left. He puts one out every 6 months or so.
