I'm currently working through Mass Effect 2 and Dark Souls 2, but there are a ton of games for me to consider when it comes time for those to finish.

I'd totally watch a fresh playthrough of Assassin's Creed IV, that's a fun game.

If there's any kind of group participation I'd love to see XCOM Enemy Unknown/Within because names TLS characters would be hilarious.

Finally figured out how to do the poll, which is now up It ends in two weeks (the uh...4th? of January), so there's plenty of time to vote for your favorites! (please feel free to vote for multiple games - just no more than 4 votes, please!)

So far, it looks like ACIV and XCOM are in the lead, but who knows what can happen in the next week and a half?

Feel free to vote, even if you're not going to watch XD You literally can't choose wrong - 3/4 of these games I either haven't played (ACIV, Persona 4, etc) or haven't finished (like FFXII!). It's a win/win situation!

And naturally, whatever is selected will find its way to the Gamerspective site, so you'll always know when new episodes come out! So far, I'm trying to do 2-3 episodes of every series per week (sitting at 2 each of Mass Effect 2 and Dark Souls 2), but once those are done I can either crank out a ton of episodes for ONE game (4 a week?), or continue that trend by playing 2 at once.

I played about 20 minutes of SR2 before I had to stop because it was driving me crazy with those crazy controls. At sine point, though, I'll pick it back up - just not ready for it yet.

Also SR3 was amazing whaaaaaaaat

After SR2, the series was killed for me. They abandoned the fans that supported SR1-SR2 when they catered to the newbies with The Turd & 4.

Tbh though, I typically don't care for gta-style games, so I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy SR3 when I played it. Fortunately, it doesn't give a shit about conventions so I had a blast with it. Plus the licensed music was awesomeeeee

It looks like AC4 is in the lead so far, though. It'll be the first one I take seriously after the time I tried the first one. But hey, maybe it'll be like POTC: The Game, except with less Jack abd Barbossa.

I suppose I could actually do ALL of these, in order of most to least votes...

Double post: I started thinking about what classes forum members would be in XCOM, and the only thing that came to mind (instantly lol) was that Splintered would be a sniper.

I always end up as the Assault somehow when I name characters. I do find them the most useful, though, next to Snipers.

The dark horse contender has now tied what looked to be the runaway winner! FFXII and Assassin's Creed IV are tied now with about a week to go for the voting. I'm actually VERY curious to see which one wins - not least because I'm up for a new party for FFXII (I'm currently using Hunter/Breaker/Red Mage + White Mage/Uhlan/Samurai - my new party will be something along the lines of Monk/Archer/Red Mage + Knight/Time Mage/Black Mage).

And I'm fairly sure that at some point I may just say fuck it and roll out the Deus Ex anyway, because A) I've never gotten to finish it for various reasons, B) I have the director's cut now (!!!!), and C) I decided the last time I played it that the next time I did, it would be for the camera

As someone who never really enjoyed the Assassins creed games, I fucking loved AC4. It's one of the few open world games I've almost platinumed. Usually I never get past 50% if Im lucky.

I only really watch streams of games I've already played (to the finish, in the case of story-driven games), so I voted for all the games on your list I've completed. That was:

Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy X, and, wait for it... Final Fantasy XII.

What can I say, I'm a specialist.

Since Chrono Trigger is a community game that I'm currently having to play anyway, it's going to be shortlisted (cheating!), but ACIV will be next on the menu after ME2 and DS2 are finished (the latter of which won't take much longer at all!).

Yeah if you haven't played DE:HR yet then make sure you do at some point. Game is awesome.

I've played the Detroit hub like three times. I love that game - that's why I have the spiffy Director's Cut now

But yeah, it's definitely on the list. Just like FFT, though idk if I want to go War of the Lions of the FFT: Rebirth PC mod.

It will likely go CT (for community run) -> finish DS2/ME2 -> ACIV -> FFXII -> STUFF.
