I'm stealing Lex's word (nomvote). Deal with it.
Rather than go through a nomination process followed by a vote, I thought we could just get straight down to business, since we normally do this a few weeks earlier. This time, nominating a game is the same as voting for it, and we'll play whichever game picks up the most nominations/votes/nomvotes.
You can nomvote any game you like (except Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII, which we played last year), providing it has a story, a clear beginning and end, and a save function. That means no sports games, sandbox games, MMOs, and so on. It doesn't have to be a Final Fantasy game - if we don't play one now, we'll definitely do so next time.
Nomvoting will be open until midday (UTC/UK time) on Sunday the 24th of January. You can make as many nomvotes as you want. You don't have to make them all at once, but if you decide to add some later, please make a new post rather than editing your previous one to make sure I see it.
I'll start us off by nomvoting Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy XIII. I nominated both of them last time as well but we ended up playing VII instead.
Edit: current vote count here.

It's an event in which lots of our members play through a game at roughly the same time. A small portion of the game, called a chapter, will be assigned every few days / every week, and you can play it at any time, or join a hangout where we all play it together. After you've played, you can post about your experiences and take part in a discussion. It doesn't matter whether you're a first-time player, a seasoned veteran or anything in between - everyone is welcome to join in!
