So, I know VERY little about this film, but the premise seemed somewhat interesting. Now that I've seen the trailer, it's got me hooked. LOTS of good actors in this, so I'm expecting something really good.

This has the potential to suck like hell... but it has an equal chance to be fricking awesome. It all depends on how it's handled.

looking forward to it, but the saddest thing about this is the fact that "Executive Producer: Steven Speilberg" now fills me with dread. The fact that Speilberg has some creative control over a project saddens me. Thats not right.

I saw this trailer while waiting for Harry Potter and all throughout I could only think "they're not going to name this Cowboy VS Aliens are they?"

And sure enough at the end of the trailer I burst out laughing because it was Cowboys and Aliens. I'm not too impressed, really.

So, got to see it yesterday. A hell of a lot of fun, lots of good actors, characters play off one another well, go see it.

I saw it yesterday as well, and it was a damn good film. One of the best of the summer. I was extremely pleasantly surprised. It's great to see good action/sci-fi films that aren't a goddamn sequel or remake/reimagining of something.

I saw a trailer for this recently and I dunno. It's either really really silly or incredibly awesome. I don't think there's room for in-betweens.

I kinda want to read the comics now to know what elements were kept and what were altered. That being said, I quite enjoyed the film and I'd reccomend it.

I heard the comic is pretty shitty. One of those neat concepts so we'll buy the rights to it for cheap kinda things.

I'm going to see it tonight with my dad. He loves the cast but the aliens part is putting him off, hah

The concept alone makes me think "What? Come on." It's like there's no proper movie-ideas anymore and people throw random things together for the heck of it.

I can see that with the title, but the concept is actually rather interesting, because the era. Often times cowboys would be defeated and killed by native americans who beat them with guerilla tactics. It's the same general concept, only the other way 'round. Rather than "Cowboys & Indians" it's "Cowboys & Aliens" but I think that most people just think that it sounds like a lazy title, and don't make the comparison. The aliens are technologically superior, but the cowboys still have guns and dynamite, but no large knowledge of advanced technology. That makes aliens terrifying in the setting of all of the unknown during the West.

I really want to see this movie but with my move and everything coming up I don't think I'll be able to. Looks great though so I'll be trying to see it as soon as possible.

I can just see me hating this film because I just was never into Alien movies or Cowboy movies so a combination of them both just seem like a bad combination to me of what I'm not going to like.

I'm not saying anything bad about the film for those that liked it. Just judging from the title, my brain says "you hate cowboys and you hate aliens. You hate this movie"

Saw it tonight. Craig and Ford are excellent.

Just remember, because Craig is from England and this is set in America, whatever side you root for, you're rooting for Aliens.

Anyways, no major surprises, but it's a fun action flick with only a few 'wait, why didn't they' moments, far less than you usually see in these things.
