Crystal Chronicles

My favorite game for the GameCube were easily Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles. I got a real kick out of using the screen on the TV along with the screen on my Game Boy Advance.

Do you guys think Nintendo will ever make a game for the WiiU that can connect to multiple WiiU pads or uses the 3DS? I'm a huge RPG fan, but also like to share that experience with friends. Sure there is online, but I think the experience you got from playing the original Crystal Chronicles is something unique that's not quite the same playing by yourself on a single screen.

Nintendo seems to be all for the "experience with friends" thing. But I recall reading (please somebody correct me if I'm wrong!) that the console could only hold one Wii U pad at the time. I am not aware of the details, so I'm not sure if the 3DS could be connected to the WiiU.

To be honest, I thought using the portable consoles to play in group with friends was a cool gimmick. But I think it could've been better if they had used it in a more effective way.

I played Crystal Chronicles on multiplayer with two Wii controlers (I played it on the Wii, yeah) and it was good fun, so...

True story. I got a copy of it (with the gba gamecube connector) for 10$ new when I worked at Wal-Mart. I have never played it. I keep meaning too. Use the hell out of the connector.

Same as me, more or less. I got a copy on clearance for $5 the year I worked at Target (before my four-year stint at Walmart) and had a Wii I could have played it on for more than two years. Still haven't.

I have CC but I couldn't get into it. Never finished it. Probably more fun if you have friends and GBAs :p

I would kind of like to do it right with 4 people and 4 GBAs. At this point, that seems virtually impossible. I do however have 2 gbas myself (an original and a SP).

Fun fact: When I use the Gamecube GBA player, I use the original gba as a controller as I find the Gamecube pad awkward for 2d games.
