Act 01: Arrival
Soundtrack:
The mists of the oceans swarm as various robotic life forms float amongst the waves and torrents of the beautiful ocean. Each seemingly indestructible design encased with circular designs and ending at the chest plate, the designs at the bottom looked very well made, redesigned for advantageous purposes. Their head however, remained unchanged by Chaos’ reimagining, they retained their singular eye stalk and dual light bulbs as they lurked upon the ocean floor, staking each region for the crystal that Chaos had discovered in this time line.
“report.” Said one of the Daleks.
“Negative. No life forms bear the readings of the crystals. All remaining resistance has been exterminated” One of the Daleks said.
“Invalid response. Continue searching this region. Our field commander L has arrived for a new insurgence. We shall exterminate the Shiva empire.”
“Exterminate. Exterminate. Exterminate.” Yelled all of them.
The Daleks have long abandoned their seemingly disadvantageous shells after Chaos has taken over the Emperor Dalek’s conscious, various other rogue Dalek Empires seem to have assimilated with Chaos’ Empire shortly after the God of Discord was resurrected. Before the conflict began, they have undergone an alteration which allowed Chaos to control them, but also obey him and the 10 villains in their absolute order. Coupled by their evolution in the Doctor and The Master’s universe, they have upgraded their weaponry from the timelines Chaos has traversed, making them even deadlier to our heroes. Time and time again the heroes have battled these menacing cyborgs, once enemies of The doctor, now enemies of all creation.
The Lead Dalek halted his movement, his eyestalk inspecting and viewing around the entire region a fair distance away from him and his unit. The seas of Ivalice squandered with life, various friends have long undergone the magical evolutions that allow them to roam the new water world.
“Life is utterly meaningless. The Daleks shall only rule.” The Lead Dalek crackled through his harsh baritone voice as his comrades began their preparation for the arrival of L, One of the 10 Godly Generals of Chaos. The foot soldiers floated on a circular angle and activated the external temporal shift embedded by Chaos.
The torrent of Ivalice’s waters began to swirl and distribute their wispy currents in a disturbing pattern as the temporal shift interrupts the forces of matter amongst the waves. The Dalek’s shells began emitting the simple whirring sounds, typical for when a General arrives to assist them in a world’s destruction. Matter begins to form on the circular barrier of the Dalek’s sophisticated means of communication.
Shades of blue begin emitting from the circular barrier as the Lead Dalek turns his red eyestalk to investigate this seemingly strange anomaly. He moves his eyestalk downwards and upwards, inspecting the positions of his fellow Daleks. He turns to his second in command.
“Alert. Alert. This is not L Ailiet. These readings detect a foreign invader within our temporal shift cyberspace. Cease the summon. There has been a breach.”
“Affirmative.”
The second in command Dalek immediately shuts down his system core to prevent a breach in the summon as the other 2 Daleks followed without question. As the shift ceased, the barrier remains. This brings the Lead Dalek closer to inspect the anomaly happening before him. Blue essence and light fills the barrier they have conjured for L, and begins to form a humanoid figure.
“Scans detect an otherworldly life form." The Lead Dalek tells his comrades.
“Is it Anything that matches within our data banks?” Asked the second in command.
“Negative. It is something not even our data banks can detect.”
“Daleks take no other life form alive. Exterminate the barrier. Exterminate the life form.”
The Daleks said.
Without any time wasted, the Dalek squadron fired a series of blasts in hopes to shut the barrier that is summoning this otherworldly creature. Dust from the ocean’s current filled the area. The Lead Dalek switches to his infra red vision to inspect the damage. A white glow fills the entire region of the blast.
“Life form has not been exterminated.” The Lead Dalek said coldly.
“Impossible. Nothing can still be alive after that.” The second in command said. As the spherical barrier emits a wave of energy around it, the life form begins forming into a shape of a teenage girl. It begins developing blue, glowing eyes. As the feminine form looks around, a sign of shock coming from her face, The Daleks observed her uttering something from within the sphere. The Lead Dalek is not fazed by this creature.
“State your Identity.” The Lead Dalek said.
Nothing came from the sphere but the creature continued to bang the sphere.
“Identify!” the Lead Dalek yelled.
Once more, nothing emerged but apparent pleas of distress. The Daleks moved backwards, with their lasers at the ready.
“Exterminate. Life form is unstable! Exterminate!” exclaimed the Daleks.
Before they could open fire, a figure from a distance is seen fast approaching their current location. It moved faster than what their scanners could trace. The figure in the sphere turned to see the commotion erupting from behind her. A silhouette of rabbit ears and a skirt can be seen from ricocheting rocks and currents of the see, fast and agile, she landed atop the sphere, the figure merely looking atop.
The lady atop of the sphere possessed a very outlandish pair of boots, brown mini skirt with various ornaments, and a livid dark brown trench coat lined with various fire arms amidst her backpack. Her head was the most strangest of them all, flowing through her black hair stood two pointy rabbit ears, coloured pink. What appeared to be her necklace actually extends to her back, where her cowboy hat she posed with a single revolver-like pistol and began twirling amidst the ocean currents.
The Daleks remained stationed where they were, their eyestalks glowing red, as a sign of red alert, a new feature given to their upgraded forms. Their robotic shells began shifting it’s structures, to reveal another monstrous form; all of them started transforming their midsections down below, not affecting the head, they had fully transformed to their new form; gigantic mechanized robotic forms reminiscent of gigantic diving suits. Their fists crackled with the steel and wire emitting from their new forms. As new turrets from their older, well known forms appeared on the side of their shoulders, they all aimed at the mysterious stranger.
“Outline resembles the inferior Cosmos Soldier known as Tropical Giovanni.” The Lead Dalek’s voice erupted from the freakish form of a tank.
“Return the crystal to our Emperor” exclaimed one of the Daleks.
She said nothing, merely sitting down and fiddling her guns. They all cautiously approached her.
“Ch. Idiots made of steel. Once y’all look at yer target, y’all never back down. Piece a junkpile.” She said in a carefree tone. However, her mouth didn’t move. Dalek scanners sense her psychic thoughts pulsating from her.
“Target is using psycho powers to throw us off guard. Approach carefully.” The Daleks said.
They all aimed at her cautiously, as if somewhat frightened by her voice as she twirled her rabbit ears innocently.
“You will cease insults.” Said the Lead Dalek.
“Bite me, bub!” she spat at them.
They all opened fire, their various rays flushing out of their intimidating turrets. Still, Tropical Giovanni stood her ground, as she playfully twirled her guns and with her strength and speed, threw the pistols atop her like the currents were simple air. In a flashing speed, she withdrew her gigantic rifle from her back and fired otherworldly bullets at the Dalek’s own death rays, cancelling all of them out before they hit the sphere.
An explosion wrapped the group, the daleks all lost in the confusion as they attempted to switch to their other vision. Just as they did, various bullets struck the Lead Dalek and sent him flying towards the crevice they emerged from. As the smoke cleared, the other Daleks caught a glimpse of Tropical jumping out of the smoke, but before they could react accordingly, she managed to subdue two of their unit. She disabled both their eyestalks, blinding them and shot their canons to avoid any casualties.
“ALERT! ALERT! We are being subdued! Switch to melee form!” the blind Daleks shouted in their agony.
All of them withdrew their main canons and their left and right arms withdrew various forms of blades, to combat most of the Cosmos troops’ favoured approach of close quarters. Tropical merely giggled at the prospect of fighting them bare handed and returned to standing atop the sphere, the person within watched in awe as she was able to overpower these monstrous beings.
“Alright! Listen up, clank heads!” she told them, pointing at them at an outlandish fashion. She merely began twirling her pistol on her right arm.
“I’ve grown to like bringing y’all down one by one like clockwork, but the games end!” she exclaimed through her psychic powers. The blind Daleks merely remained stationed while the Lead Dalek regained composure, joining his brethren.
“What’s yer damn business with this here rock?” she tapped the sphere with here feet.
“Answer denied. Surrender the Summoned and prepare to be exterminated.” Exclaimed the Lead Dalek, he drew his specialized death canon from his back, a feature granted by Chaos to Squad Leader Daleks. She merely tilted her head as she looked at them like they were mere retarded children.
She sighed sadly, her rabbit ears sinking. Her eyes glared at each of them, the Lead dalek charged the canon’s power, given the pressure of the ocean around them, it took more time than that of land. She drew her gigantic rifle once more and viewed the scope, her aim is steady but concise with the canon’s energy.
“EXTERMINATE!” the Lead Dalek’s voice yelled as he fired the energy off the death canon. The energy around it, incinerating the ground and heating up the ocean, Tropical felt the currents burning with the force of the energy. She took a simple breath and pulled the trigger of her rifle. The blast erupted from the gun akin to that of a Sonic boom, overpowering the Lead Dalek’s energy wave and incinerating the blast, the bullet sped past the chaos and connected with the canon.
A large shockwave tore the canon and the top of the armor of the Lead Dalek off, agonized screaming and cries erupted from the dying cyborg, with his last breath, the Lead Dalek ordered his entire squadron to attack her head on. Tropical smirked as she kissed her rifle and withdrew it, determined and ready, she draws her main pistols as she gazed at the oncoming force. All with blades at the ready, she sunk her ears below her hair as she looked at the sphere.
“tsk. Looks like this is gonna take a while. Be back in a sec kay?” she told the sphere. The life form inside said nothing, as she darted towards them, she rides the currents akin to a jet and twirled from side to side, dodging potentially deadly blows from the Dalek armour. She uses her legs to kick the eye stalks the other way, drawing her gun to fire directly at the other Dalek’s eyestalk. She stands atop the arm for a brief second and twirls her guns as fast as possible before jumping atop the two unfortunate monsters.
She fires her super charged bullets directly at each of their heads, and another shot at their energy pack behind their new form. An explosion erupted below her, as she slowly rides the torrent of waves the chaos below provided, the remaining four Daleks, including the blind ones dove up towards her.
“Insistin’ for a butt whoopin’ ain’t gonna bring yer leader back, dummies.” she slyly told them all as landed atop a current and directed it back towards them. All of the daleks drew their side weapons to prepare for the oncoming strike. Her agility has proven to be a challenge as she swam faster than any of them, The daleks drove a blow to what appeared to be she herself, but the scanners of their eye stalk failed to catch her speedy form, what they thought was her was merely an old recording of her approach mere seconds before she rose upwards.
“Y’all are strong.” A voice yelled from above. They immediately switched to roof vision, catching a glimpse of her.
“But y’all rely heavily on machinery, there ain’t nothin’ faster in this place than yer wit, guts and strive ta win.” She called to them.
“Sorry guys, but y’all ain’t firin’ those at nobody” she twirled her guns for another deadly blast to each Dalek.
“Alert! Alert! Her range is dangerously strong and accurate! Survival rate extremely low! Return fire!” one Dalek yelled as all of them switched to their main canons. But their reaction time is too late as Tropical rained endless waves of bullets down below;
destroying whatever threat remained of the unit. She smirked in triumph as she withdrew her pistols as she made her slow descent back to the ocean floor. The ocean's currents sent her light body slowly downwards.
Beneath that smile, lies a sad and painful loneliness , one that filled her heart for quite a while.
Volunteering for guarding the crystal… She had expected this duty to end by now.
To be with her Doctor.. But still, she remained in the lonely, cold world.
She floated amidst the silence of the former glorious world of Ivalice. She slowly breathed in the magnificence of the water world. As the currents slowly brought her down to the ocean bed, she adored the now cool waters and the sun above them before landing comfortably at the sea bed. She reminisced as she closed her eyes as her senses slowly escaping her as she took a slight rest from the battle that just occurred.
