Nope. I think it'll be FFXV, using the new engine of theirs. May be the first FF title I have looked forward to since FFXII, but should prepare myself for disappointment .

As for the next FF, I think it will largely depend on who directs it, no? People like Hiroyuki Ito and Yasumi Matsuno have done arguably well when it comes to Final Fantasy games.

I think it'll be an announcement they'll announce a teaser trailer that announces a new game to be slated for release sometime later, and that people should look out for future announcements.

Actually, as Hawkeye has shown, they've done it before. Not only that, but if they wanted to do it again, they totally could, and without needing anyone else's permission, since both are owned by the same company. Now what I wanna see is a Smash Bros./Dissidia crossover. Just imagine, Falcon punching Lightning while Gilgamesh and Ness battle with
