As expected, Square Enix have a rather large booth again this year. No mention of a closed mega theatre.

Its doubtful if we'll get any compilation coverage, but its pretty safe to say Dissidia and FFXIII titles

My eyes are going to be glued to the TV once G4 starts their coverage on the 1st. While SE always promises some great news to be revealed at E3, I'm waiting for some Mass Effect 2 details.

There won't be anything new. Most of the new stuff SE presents is shown at Jump Festa, Tokyo Gameshow, or their own individual parties.

E3 never gives us new insight, except in regards to stuff regarding localized releases and stuff. Expecting them to announce a new title at E3 before they say it in Japan is a bit overly optimistic.

And Mako, you're absolutely right, but Yoichi Wada keeps going on about attracting the western market, that would certainly be one way to do it. They won't, but it would be.

Yeah, but I think the only things that will be there will be stuff for FFXIII's compilation, Dissidia, FFIV The After Years, and whatever new stuff they have that I cba to think of.

If we're lucky...and I mean REALLLLLY lucky...we might hear news of BC coming stateside. Maybe. But I wouldn't hold your breath

Have they finally revealed it's going ahead?
Last interview with the committee(taken from MCV) revealed they were possibly postponing it for this swine flu shit.
Fear of spic cleaners infecting the gaming community and such.

Besides it will be awesome, as far as i know they are planning on showcasing Assassins creed 2 in the ubisoft section as well as dropping tidbits about the development of Mass effect 2 and fable 3 (jonathan ross is supposedly doing voices in fable 3.....why? i don't know.)

Bah the swines strike again

Joining the likes of Koei and Capcom, Square Enix is the latest Japanese developer to restrict employee travel to E3 because of Swine Flu.

"Due to the recent worldwide spread of H1N1 flu, a limited number of executives and development team members from Square Enix's headquarters in Japan will be attending E3 this year," Sonia Im, Public Relations, Assistant Director told Kotaku.

No wonder on how this will impact any possible announcements from the company at E3. Capcom's decision not to send its Osaka-based staff has killed Dead Rising 2's E3 appearance. Japanese companies SEGA, Tecmo and Sony have stated that H1N1 Influenza 09 has not impacted their decision to attend this year's E3.
