Fan Remixes: Front Page Feature in the making!

As a hub for Final Fantasy VII content, it is important that we gather the most outstanding/notorious remixes and tributes in one place. This thread is meant to build the basis for what will become an "FFVII Remixes" feature on the front page. It will be under the parent, "FAN WORKS", just like other planned features that will gather awesome fan creations in one spot.

TASKS:
1) I am also looking for somebody to become the official head/leader of this page and who has a clear vision as to how we may highlight new, awesome music remixes.
2) How should we decide on single remixes that get linked to in the page? Quality of remixes, and the opinion of these, vary greatly. This is really the biggest challenge on how to structure the page and keep it updated.


Again, this is a stub-forum-version of what will become a richer front page feature if somebody has the will to make this music hub happen.

Description: 4-disc album by the OCRemix team.

- FFVII Remastered
Description: The original FFVII album remastered with REAL high quality instruments. Scroll down the post in the link to see his unfinished FFVI album also.

- Black Materia
Description: Rap album. Brentalfloss lends his voice in the track "Don Corneo (Interlude)".

(What was that other, presumably bad rap album now again?)

I had the following thought just now:

Due to it being completely impossible to make a completely objective list of remixes on the front page, it is better if we keep "random" remixes to a forum thread.

So say we advertise, as written in the first post here, the bigger, well-known FFVII remix albums followed by the promotion of other musicians who do occassional FFVII remixes.

The bottom of the front page feature then links to a forum topic where people post their favorite remixes. To achieve some semblance of order and to prevent re-posts, a list should be kept in the first post with the name of the remix and the remixer. That way people can search and see if their favorite has already been linked. Something like that.

This is not without its problems still. Some may object and say "Why are you promoting Daniel Tidwell and not me?"
Thoughts? I will retain though that integrating the front page index feature "Fan Remixes" with the forums is a good idea.
