I played a translated ROM a while back where their dialogue was far more entertaining and adult oriented. I wonder if this is really what the original script sounded like?

The translators of the ROM claimed they Americanised the dialogue a bit, but otherwise left it more or less the same as the original. On the other hand other people who have played both the Japanese and J2e versions claimed they added some of the obscenity, but that the original script was indeed quite a bit more obscene than the American version.
