FFVII and AC questions

Terra x Cloud OTP
Hi! I hope this is the right place to post, this is my first post here and I have a few questions. If I do something wrong, just let me know ^^;
Now, my memory is *really* bad, so even though some of these questions may seem "duh", I really appreciate any help in answering them to refresh my memory/correct what I don't understand.

1) In FF7, is Mako poisoning and injection of Jenova cells related in any way?
2) Does Cloud have both Jenova cells and Mako poisoning? What are the effects of each?
3) In AC, the remnants are--clones? Or beings with Jenova cells? Is this how Sephiroth can manifest through one of them?
4) When it is said that Sephiroth’s will in the Lifestream causes Geostigma, is this the "soul" of the original Sephiroth, or...? By "will" does it mean his hostile intentions despite being in a "heaven-type" place? After AC, does Sephiroth return to the Lifestream (and possibly cause Geostigma again) or is he gone for good?
5) The lifestream--is there an exact description of what it is, since it seems like good and evil can still exist within in, unlike a Christian idea of an afterlife.
6) Are there good descriptions of the places (towns/cities and who lives where) during AC?

Thanks so much for humoring any of these questions!

1)No, anyone exposed to too much mako will get mako poisoning.

2)Mako poisoning isn't a persistent condition, Cloud has had mako poisoning twice, once after the experiments in Nibelheim, and again during FF7. He's always had Jenova cells since Hojo's experiments (until AC where they are destroyed by Great Gospel).

3)None of the above, when Cloud killed Sephiroth, his will was too powerful to disassociate, but not powerful enough to reconstitute himself. The best he could manage were the fragmented remnants.

4)It's his soul/being whatever you wanna call it. After AC he's back in the lifestream, but presumably, his will has been sufficiently crushed for him to finally diffuse.

5) Yeah it's not really an afterlife, it's just the collection of every living thing's "spirit" coalesced into glowing green goo. You cease to exist as yourself in the Lifestream, Aeris and Sephiroth are special cases. And presumably Aeris has kept Zack's consciousness whole as well.

6)Not really, the On the Way to a Smile stories do a better job of that.

And welcome, by the way :monster:
