FFXIII coming to PC very soonish

http://store.steampowered.com/app/292120/ release date set to October 9th, and it's selling for... Actually, less than any mobile FF title they did so far, for some reason . Actually they're chucking it on there for the same price as FFIII, FFVII and VIII. And FFIV is €1,50 more expensive. TL;DR: idgi, lol.

I'd still like to get the game for PS3, but it's impossible to find new, and still costs more second hand (where I've seen it, mostly Gamestop) than lots of other games cost new. I suppose I could get it for the PC but I'd need a better PC first.

I always wondered why they don't port to PC anymore. Is it piracy? If so then this is actually not a bad move. Everyone who was interested FFXIII for the consoles already has it, so that would pirate probably would not have bought it anyway? I guess, that's what I think. Maybe give X HD a few years and that will pop up there too?

I kind of want to see what mods they'll have. I want to play as sponge bob or something. Have Odin turn into a My Little Pony.

Games don't seem to care much what you do, the only deformed parts of the skeleton are the faces, which is scary/hilarious at the same time.

Awesome! Always wanted to play this, but don't have a PS3. Hope the port is as good (at least) as the FF7 port.

Also excited for the other FF titles they're releasing onto Steam as well.

Currently playing through FFXIII-2 on PC and the file size was like 26gb.

I wouldn't mind so much if the frame rate would be a dear and keep still my god.

I'm sure they could reduce the size by over half if they used a bit smarter compression algorithms, but hey .
