Holy hell! That was ... amazing! Fantastic job SE.

You know what? I'd actually have enjoyed all the FFXIII games a heck of a lot more if they had been done in those 2D sprites, lol.

And from all the comments popping up, a lot of people would love a new retro FF game done in that style. From the feedback I hope they'll finally understand that no one really wants the horrid new sprites that they've been using for the V or VI ports.

I wanted to dislike this (not enough Fang/Vanille, Lightning is the narrator now *really*?) but the little Cauis with the hearts and all the Yeuls are so damn cute <33 So is Mog

My favorite part is when they meet Snow, they run across the field and you can very briefly, see Ultros in the background. That was pretty awesome.

I hope they all do retrospectives like that, for all the Final Fantasies. Just for fun.

Charming. This was the best thing to come out from SE in a while. There's something about those super nintendo sprites... As someone who hasn't been involved with FFXIII, I have to say I had no idea about what was happening during the video. Therefore I still have no idea about the plot.

I would like to throw a question to those who fancied these 16-bit sprites.. What is it about them that you like? What makes them so appealing? In my case I like them almost too much - I would probably choose 16 -bit over anything.
