I didn't add him to my rundown of main characters, but I quite liked Jamieson Price's Reeve. New guy was fine enough that I didn't give it any thought in his scenes, but I probably didn't like him as much.
Not according to a thread I made how they ruined it (not really just click bait) that since they changed the time line, dose that mean the important moments that made final fantasy 7 what it is or is it not?I get what you mean in terms of emotional attachment but they are not people in my home being replaced by strangers, they are fictional characters. Those characters still exist, the work of the old VAs still exists, and the world still keeps on spinning.
And yes, this is not the original but it is still FF7 regardless of which Western voice actors get checks from a Japanese multi-billion dollar company.
Wtf thanks lolI already did that to yours. They watch you while you sleep. Waiting.
Honestly Dirge isn't so bad. Reeve's old VA is one of the only ones I really like better.
*mumble* ...something, something broken arms...If Sephiroth WAS my mom though… ???
It’s still very much based in the characters and story of the world of FF7 so yes, it’s still FF7 regardless of where they go with it…these lines that people draw between what is and isn’t FF7 are arbitrary, it can mean many different things to many different people but in the end it’s SE’s product to do what they please withNot according to a thread I made how they ruined it (not really just click bait) that since they changed the time line, dose that mean the important moments that made final fantasy 7 what it is or is it not?
*cough*ANYONE WHO LIKES THE CHANGES MADE ARE NOT REAL FANS
I don’t think so, that’s why I’m just glad I have the first one at least and feel bad for new players thinking that remake is Thee FF7 gameIt’s still very much based in the characters and story of the world of FF7 so yes, it’s still FF7 regardless of where they go with it…these lines that people draw between what is and isn’t FF7 are arbitrary, it can mean many different things to many different people but in the end it’s SE’s product to do what they please with
There’s literally nothing to feel bad about lmao. The devs aren’t so naive to think every new player will go play the OG even if they encourage it. Not every new player is expected to be able to see past the lack of voice acting and dated visuals/gameplay of the OG. If the remake is all that some new fans bother with, then so be it. Better than nothing.and feel bad for new players thinking that remake is Thee FF7 game

The devs seem less concerned with petty notions of “hmph, such and such isn’t the REAL FF7 harumph harumph harumph ” and more concerned with creating a product that tells the story that they want to tell, that gives old and new fans something to enjoy, and that makes as much money as possible.
Forgive me for not wasting time reading articles and watching videos parroting the same points I’ve heard many times already, especially after you posted two articles that were written before the friggin’ game was even out lol.Obviously you didn’t watch the video so…
Ya like how the first game was 3 discs and we haven’t even done half in remake just to milk the franchise? let alone spoil and ruin the following:
- Mystery surrounding Sephiroth (because they already met him in the beginning and beat him at the end, so do you really think the new players are going to care later in the game when he turns into a giant fish man?)
- Clouds Story and why he’s having ptsd flash backs (because fans know but new players won’t)
- Everyone that died in original are still alive thus the sacrifice and drama mean nothing now, except constant reminders and cringe one liners I mean for crying out loud, the freaking director is the guy who made kingdom hearts! so I wasn’t surprised that at how it is turning out ugh ?
So ya keep telling yourself that the fans have something to enjoy ? and to the new players that it’s totally the same and not different at all lol ?
Ya and your response was just my answer but disregarding it ? lol ?...You're complaining about not getting the Compilation of FFVII voice actors back for the Remake because of nostalgia and then tossing the fact that Nomura's the director of this and KH like it's some sort of an insult.
LOL like, whatever dude. And please use more emojis. I don't feel like I'm on Facebook yet.
Lol again I already stated my case and any response is null and void lol ?Forgive me for not wasting time reading articles and watching videos parroting the same points I’ve heard many times already, especially after you posted two articles that were written before the friggin’ game was even out lol.
Splitting the game into parts gives the devs more time to flesh out the world in a way they couldn’t do before. The Midgar segment is so much more expansive because of it. Does it also make them more money? Uh, yeah. It’s a business. But it’s not like that money is going to appear out of thin air, it also takes time and effort especially with the amount of care that they’re doing it with.
Notice how the “boo-hoo muh Sephiroth mystery” crowd are the ones who already know about him. New players still know next to nothing about him unless they play the OG and if they want to play it so badly, it’s easily accessible. If they want to wait for the rest of the remake, again, so be it.
As for people being alive, all that can be said is the story isn’t over yet. That was the point, to level the playing field between old and new fans. Now we’re all on equal ground of not knowing what’s next because news flash: creative people like being creative when they tell their stories.
And funny thing about all the whining about “grrrrr Nomura bad Kingdom Hearts bad”, he and Hamaguchi were the ones who wanted to keep the remake as close to the OG as possible. Thankfully, I don’t have to convince myself of the remake’s merits because the overwhelming amount of success and excitement for part 2 should speak for itself but apparently that doesn’t count because a handful of people say so?
To your last point though, it’s a remake. It’s not meant to be the same as the OG. But whether you like it or not, it’s still FF7 through and through. I wouldn’t expect a so-called “true fan” to be so imposing about their own idea of what FF7 “should” be over what the people who made the dang thing say it should be, but here we are.
Lol again I already stated my case and any response is null and void lol ?
That’s not how discussions work, friend, but good on you for avoiding addressing my responses I guess?Lol again I already stated my case and any response is null and void lol ?
Yeah, it’s easy to respond to stuff with little effort when it’s the same tired points being repeated over and overFunny how you say it waste your time and already heard it so much but respond anyway lol
Show me where I even suggested you can’t have your opinion (hint: you’ll have to actually read what I wrote to try to find it)and I’m forcing my opinion? If you didn’t give a two cents you let others have theirs I’m not forcing mine I’m TELLING MINE lol ? ?
No* you put know lol ? so I guess your talking about yourself now since you can’t spell lolGuys, didn't you hear? If you state your case it means no one else can respond.
I'm stating my case that this guy is probably a little kid with almost know knowledge of forum or Internet etiquette in general and he should stop posting. My evidence is *his entire post history*. Having stated my case, any response is null and void. *insert patronising emojis here I'm too old for this*
Nah because I already stated my case or opinion but since you love the changes so much in remake this is probably more up your alley lolThat’s not how discussions work, friend, but good on you for avoiding addressing my responses I guess?
